Quotes… Quotes have always been powerful things in my opinion, maybe because they can have such a huge impact on so many people’s lives.
When you hear a great quote, it sometimes feels like a way of condensing a lot of wisdom or advice around one topic and offering it in the most direct way possible.
It sometimes takes a minute to really think about the effect it has on your life.
Good quotes give us strength and hope when we’re not feeling at our best, reminding us that there is always something to strive for and improve.
And of course, I’ve not mentioned those funny quotes that make us laugh and cheer us up, or manage to change how we look at something funny – even in what seems like a small way.
When it comes to quotes about relationships and the impact that they have on our feelings and ideas about dating, I believe that this is where things like quotes and short phrases can make the MOST difference.
So here’s a couple of my favourite quotes about relationships, and a little bit about why I think they are so powerful.
“It’s better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you’re not” ––Marilyn Monroe
Maybe a lot of people didn’t think of her like this, but this woman was smart cookie. When we start to act like someone we’re not, even in a relationship that may have meant a lot to us, we start to be untrue to what we really stand for.
It’s important to remember your points of view and character, even if you think that these are small matters that aren’t really important!
Staying true to your opinions will help you stay happy in the long run, in or out of relationships.
“Love one another and you will be happy; it is as simple and as difficult as that” ––Michael Leunig
For quotes about relationships, this one is pretty spot on. I’m sure you know by now that relationships are can be tricky.
Couples often struggle to understand each other in a relationship, no matter how long they have been together, people will always have a difference of opinion ove rsome things – it’s only natural.
The important thing to remember is that when a relationship is working, and working well, it can be one of the greatest feelings we can have.
A feeling that is definitely worth putting into words with some meaningful quotes.
